Jason Momoa's Aquaman Revealed!

The movie may be titled Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but at this point, we're only a Flash and a Green Lantern short of a full blown Justice League.  Although the movie is still over a year away, Zack Snyder has been making slow reveals from his twitter page for the past few months, revealing Ben Affleck's Batman, the new Batmobile, Henry Cavill's Superman, and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. Now comes Jason Momoa's Aquaman.

Update: image with more color available here, and image without text available here.  Thanks to reddit users oorheza and IanMazgelis respectively.

The look is definitely epic and helps to quell any remaining worries over Aquaman as a serious character.  Momoa definitely presents a version of Arthur Curry that rivals even the seriousness of Ben Affleck's Batman.

There is a lot to break down when it comes to the intricate tattoos and armor that make up the Aquaman look, but perhaps the most exciting is the presence of the trident (or pentent?), which Zack Snyder once referenced, saying it could "cut the flesh" from Superman.

Also, the text over the image says "Unite The Seven."  This could mean multiple things.  Zack's tweet says "There is only one true King," implying that Aquaman unites the seven seas (he is king of the seven seas in classic DC mythos), but it's also interesting to note that there have been seven Justice League members announced, so it could mean either/or/both of those things.

Now we just have a Ray Fisher Cyborg reveal and that will account for all 5 of the heroes confirmed to appear in Batman V Superman, but with such a large appearance, I can't help but wonder: will we also see Flash and Green Lantern?  The Flash has already been cast as Ezra Miller, so it's definitely a possibility.

With rumors of a trailer on they way, it's hard to not be excited to see more from this movie.  March 2016 can't come fast enough.

What do you think of the Aquaman look?  Let me know in the comments!
