First Look at Paul Rudd as Ant-Man

It's technically in production longer than any other Marvel Studios production, but Ant-Man isn't hitting the big screen until after Avengers: Age of Ultron.  Now, we finally have our first shot of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang in the Ant-Man suit, thanks to the recently revealed cover of Entertainment Weekly.

The look isn't much of a surprise, as it is basically identical to the suit seen in the poster released from Comic-Con last year (although production had hardly even begun yet at that point).

While this may not exactly be "new" in regards to what we already know about Ant-Man, it is the first official shot of Paul Rudd actually wearing the get-up.

Marvel also released a teaser for the teaser that will be released tonight (yes, it's weird, there's a reason I didn't give it its own post).  Of course, that will go up once it's available, but for now, enjoy the teaser trailer teaser that contains nothing of any huge significance.

Ant-Man will hit theaters July 17th, 2015, starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang (Ant-Man, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym (the original Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, and Corey Stoll as Darren Cross (Yellowjacket).

  1. I'd love to see a Spidey TV show, kind of like the 90s animated series, but he is too big of a property to just use him on TV instead of just put him in a movie. The guy gets 700 million and it's considered (kind of) a flop. So, there's that.

  2. Yeah, but I feel like if they did it really small, just as a single season "Year One" story without any super villains or anything, then it'd be the perfect way to reboot.

That way they aren't wasting resources. Hell, they could even film it back to back with a movie, and that way they save on marketing, and production expenses.
