New Desktop Finally

So, after years of languishing with a variety of old (and canibalized) laptops, and a brief experiment with OSX (technically not over, I just am too lazy to jump through the hoops to get something newer than Tiger on it),  and an extended Android only environment, I finally caved to Newegg's pre-black Friday sale and built myself a new desktop.  Nothing earth shattering.  Mostly budget purchases (Phenom II 3.4 Ghz Quad-Core, 16GB RAM, Radeon HD 7850).  I was focusing mostly on budget and compatibility, but left a lot of room to add another graphics card with CrossFire, add a few SSDs and whatever else I decide to do (cable management is oddly high on my priority list.  I'm getting so OCD these days).

The point is, I've been spending too much of my time catching up on the games I missed instead of blogging, but will probably post some game reviews when I finish ME3 (I've been waiting so long for this one) and I'm probably playing Far Cry 3 next.

There is a lot of exciting tech news leading up to christmas, so I'll probably post a Christams list soon too, because there's a lot of stuff I want, but more importantly, there's a lot of tech I'm so excited to gift this season.  Tis the season of giving, right?
